We protect Slovakia’s drinking water

We are people who no longer want to passively watch the gradual contamination of Slovakia’s groundwater, leading to the degradation of what we’ve always been proud of: our drinking water.

In 2024 the civic association Za našu vodu received the 2024 ATLAS environmental award, granted by the VÚB Foundation. It won in the Awareness category for the project Protection of Žitný Ostrov’s drinking water, aimed at raising public awareness of why strategic drinking-water sources must be protected.
